Checked in late and interaction with the staff was polite. Found the room spacious, just a bit outdated and it had a lingering odor that smelled like cigarette smoke, which was a letdown given the 'No Smoking' policy posted in the room. The layout felt odd with the TV remote hiding behind it. Internet access was okay but could be faster, especially since I needed it for work. The breakfast was decent with a variety of options and the beds were comfortable enough for a night’s sleep. However, the lack of an elevator was frustrating. My family, especially the older ones, struggled with the stairs. Cleanliness was inconsistent. while the public areas looked tidy, the bathrooms showed signs of aging. Overall, it carried the charm of a well-loved older hotel but in need of updates and stricter cleaning protocols.
